What we have built in

• Every page works with the keyboard alone. Focus is always visible, and a “skip to content” link is the first thing you reach.
• Text and background colours were checked against the WCAG 2.2 AA contrast minimums.
• Every meaningful image has alternative text; decorative images are hidden from screen readers rather than described pointlessly.
• Headings run in order, each page has a single main heading, and the navigation, main content and footer are marked as landmarks.
• Menus, the accordion and the enquiry form use standard ARIA patterns and can be operated without a mouse. The accordion also responds to the up and down arrow keys.
• If your system is set to reduce motion, the animations switch themselves off.
• Text reflows down to a 320px-wide screen without a horizontal scrollbar, and the layout survives being zoomed.
• The page still renders and reads correctly with JavaScript turned off.

Where we know it falls short

• The enquiry form is not connected to a mailbox yet. Until it is, submitting it tells you so rather than silently failing — but it does mean the form is not currently a working route to us.
• We have not yet published a phone number or email address, so someone who cannot use a web form has no alternative contact route on the site. This is the gap we would most like to close.
• The site has been tested with automated checks and keyboard navigation, but not yet with a screen reader by someone who uses one daily.
